Guidance about ecosystem services in built up areas
At the national level, the impact objective is that the project will contribute to increased knowledge of ecosystem services in planning, construction and management and increased know how and co-ordination among the different actors.
The aim of the guidance is to facilitate the target groups to actively work with ecosystem services and thus create better habitats for humans, plants and animals in the built environment. Developing the green structure also helps to address several of the challenges facing the built environment today, such as adaptation to a changing climate, social integration, densification and a increased construction.
