Establishment of the Food Rescue Center

The Food Rescue Center Nonprofit Ltd. was established by 72/2022 Government Decree. It aims to reduce and prevent the generation of food waste in the commercial sector. Acting as an intermediary between the food traders and the charities, distributes expired food that can still be safely consumed as a donation.

Reducing food waste in the commercial sector and donating expired food that can still be safely consumed to charities, the Food Rescue Center Nonprofit Ltd. contributes to waste reduction, to the reduction of CO2 emissions and sustainable use of natural resources.
