Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Strategic Plan of Hungary 2023-2027
The Hungarian CAP Strategic Plan aims to improve the resource efficiency of agricultural production, to encourage a wide range of farmers to use environmentally friendly production technologies and practices, and as a result to improve the sustainable management of natural resources, reduce the contribution to climate change and increase biodiversity.
The Strategyc Plan becomes operative in 2023.
We are taking a complex approach to our support schemes to improve the environment and manage natural resources sustainably, so that our farmers are given a reasonable incentive to renew their farming practices. Our interventions will provide stronger protection for soil and soil organic matter than ever before, and we will provide much stronger incentives for water retention in the soil and landscape and for the protection of our waters.
