Colombian National Ecolabelling Action Plan

The National Action Plan is part of the main policies and guidelines designed to regulate the theme of ecolabeling in the country and constitutes a roadmap for directing public-private actions for the coming years.
As part of the SPPEL project national activities, Colombia has developed a National Ecolabelling Action Plan focusing on the "Sello Ambiental Colombiano (SAC)", the government-managed voluntary tool designed for the promotion of goods and services that have a lower impact on the environment. The National Action Plan is part of the main policies and guidelines designed to regulate the theme of ecolabeling in the country and constitutes a roadmap for directing public-private actions for the coming years. The plan has been developed through a consultative and participatory process involving various institutional actors and the private sector.
