The awareness of the human impact on the environment has increased, and there is a greater focus on personal as well as global consequences of individual lifestyle choices, unfortunately, sustainable development is still not a central topic of educational system in the Baltic states. To solve this problem, The Lithuanian Children and Youth Centre (LCYC) has started Erasmus + project "Jump into Sustainable Lifestyles“.

The UNESCO Chair on Education for Sustainable Lifestyles promotes an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation on education for sustainable lifestyles. It facilitates collaboration between high-level, internationally recognized researchers and teaching staff working on education for sustainable lifestyles from around the world.
Earth Charter International is comprised of the ECI Secretariat, its Education Center and the ECI Council. The ECI Secretariat, which is based at the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica, endeavors to promote the mission, vision, strategies, and policies adopted by the ECI Council. The future at once holds great peril and great promise.The Earth Charter Initiative counts on a diverse, interactive, global youth network representing over 100 countries from around the world to promote and implement the Earth Charter locally and globally. Those active in the Youth Network have embraced and integrated the Earth Charter into their studies, work, and daily lives. Youth can further develop their capacity and increase their impact as leaders through engaging with the Earth Charter.
Our aim is to give a voice to the family farmers, to tell their stories through social media, and to share lessons of their experiences through familiar platforms.
We will provide a space to record sustainable small scale farmers stories to share with the emerging generation of farmers. Their stories will be recognised and their knowledge shared through Podcasts, Video, Blogs and downloadable tutorials that the next generation of farmers of the Global North and South can easily access.
At Järvavecka, a political event in Stockholm, Sweden, held yearly in June, we launched the Swedish language Good Life Goals. We promoted them by talking to individuals visiting this event as well as companies and organisations. Good Life Goals cards were distributed.

YPDSN aspires to improve the living conditions of poor and marginalized peoples by adopting strategies through community initiative, participation and sensitization.
