The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) invite to the conference Sustainable Consumption for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Worldwide. The one-day event will take place on September 30, 2019 in Berlin. The conference launches the study Protecting biodiversity and ecosystem services worldwide through sustainable consumption and invites for discussion.

geoFootprint is a multi-stakeholder initiative launched by Quantis in 2018 with aim to merge GIS technology (i.e. satellite imagery) and the life cycle assessment (LCA) framework, into a public web-based platform. The Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI) is a multi-stakeholder initiative that brings together members of the international floriculture supply-chain. FSI members collaborate to improve practices and drive positive change in the sustainable production and trade of flowers and plants. A total of 14 international voluntary sustainable standards and schemes make up the FSI Basket.
