COOLANT - An energy efficient alternative outdoor air cooling system derived from natural materials that works on the principle of evaporative cooling without using any harmful refrigerants
An innovative alternative cooling solution that is made from natural materials designed for diverse environments which consumes very less energy and is capable of tapping cooling properties of water to cool warm moisture laden air. The system works on age old basic evaporative cooling technique. Coolant is a robust eco-friendly system that requires minimum maintenance, by combining air, earth and water - three natural resources we can g.It is a biomimetic design inspired by the form of beehive.
Food waste is still a largely uncategorized type of waste in most sustainability certifications and labels in the tourism sector. With the environmental impact of food waste reaching critical levels, more monitoring systems must be in place to calculate food waste costs in operations on a daily basis. In addition, hotel and restaurant managers are still using incomplete Key Performance Indicators, with the Food Cost percentage still being the industry standard, even if it does not accurately reflect food management efficiency.
This project supports the institutionalisation and implementation of green public procurement and eco-labelling of ASEAN countries through policy consultation and technical support tailored to the needs of partner countries. The project will initially support two priority countries (Thailand and Viet Nam) in the ASEAN region from 2017 to 2018. The outcomes and lessons learned will be disseminated to other countries in the region with a possible follow-up project covering additional countries.

Advance SCP: Advancing and Measuring Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) for a Low-Carbon Economy in Middle-Income and Newly Industrialized Countries
The Advance SCP project supports the development and implementation of sustainability information systems (SIS) in eight emerging economies across three regions of the world: South-East Asia, Africa & Latin America; adapting itself to the varying circumstances of the pilot countries and their needs in terms of SCP. The SIS will form the basis for making informed consumption decisions and lead to lower greenhouse gas emissions and improved resource efficiency along the value chains.
Establish Low Carbon Consumption and Production in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines (“SCP TIP”) [AFFILIATED]
