The non-profit organisation Ecological Union developed a cartoon about responsible purchases. The aim of this project was to explain, in an entertaining way, the benefits of sustainable consumption and the role of ecolabels. It also served the purpose to promote the World Ecolabel Day held in 2018 and the recently developed Ecolabel Guide.

The study was conducted to evaluate environmental literacy and the interest of responsible customers when it comes to choosing eco-products. The study was conducted in 2018 and the data has been collected via an online survey method among 1,600 people mostly living in the areas of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The Vitality Leaf ecolabel is the first and only internationally recognized system of voluntary environmental certification in Russia to date. The ecolabel is based on a multicriteria analysis that considers the entire life cycle of the product (Life Cycle Assessment- LCA) which sets thresholds values, limits and performances that are monitored and certified by the Vitality Leaf experts (Type I as per ISO 14024).
The GSTC Sustainable Tourism Training Program (STTP) offered a number of 2- and 3-day intensive and interactive onsite training classes focused on the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Criteria, and engaged tourism industry professionals around the world through expert presentations and discussions on sustainable tourism best practices for businesses and destinations.
The STTP, begining in 2017, offered online scheduled training classes led by GSTC trainers, available at least 4 times a year.
