Guardians of Grub is a new campaign aimed at empowering professionals from across the hospitality and food service sector to reduce the amount of food thrown away in their establishments.


A suite of free Guardians of Grub resources is now available that businesses can use to tackle food waste, including information posters and how-to guides, and a free calculator to record the changes being made.

Impact and Results

The campaign aims to tackle the £3 billion of food thrown away at hospitality and food service outlets. Also, aims to reduce amount of food wasted across the sector by 100,000 tonnes per year by 2025
