This is the work plan for the Nordic Council of Minister's work with sustainable development for the period 2021-2024. It highlights, among other things, a specific target on sustainable lifestyles.

The work plan shall contribute to the overarching goal of the Nordic cooperation, to be the most sustainable and integrated region in the world in 2030. This aim is adopted through Our Vision 2030. The cross-sectoral work with sustainable development at the NCM shall contribute to the vision, as well as to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

For the period 2021-2024, the work will specifically focus on sustainable lifestyles and consumption (SDG 12), a socially sustainable green transition (SDG 10, 12, 13 and 15) and the involvement of civil society and children and young people (SDG 11, 16, and 17).

The work plan is a continuation of the Generation 2030-program.
