Impact and Results

With this database Peru become a regional leader on LCA providing open data in key strategic sector such us energy or waste. This is a join effort of the Ministry of Environment and the Peruvian LCA Network.

This database will help policy makers, private sector and academia to integrate LCA methodologies and take into consideration a life cycle approach.

Furthermore, PERU LCA includes a calculator that uses the national economic input output matrix to calculate the carbon footprint and water consumption in key economic sectors of Peru.
