COP22 Green Map

10YFP STP Portfolio: COP22 Green Map helps tourists make informed travel decisions in Marrakech During the 22nd Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP 22) held in Marrakech, Morocco in November 2016, the Ministry of Tourism of Morocco, UN Environment, the Michelin Group and Association Mawarid pour l’Environnement et l’Énergie collaborated to create a Green Passport map. The map emphasized the importance of making informed travel decisions as a way to help Morocco shift towards more low carbon and resource efficient tourism products.
