5 December 2015

The goal of this side event is to raise awareness about the potential of SPP as a tool to reduce GHG emissions.

The discussion focused on how to measure the GHG emissions of public procurement. Three members of the 10YFP on SPP programme also presented case studies from Europe, Asia and North America that illustrated, through specific examples and empirical data, what role SPP could play in reducing GHG emissions.
