About my work

I worked as Minister Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Costa Rica to the United Nations, being the focal point and person in charge of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and second committee expert. My work includes analytical work on thematic issues across the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, policy advice in sustainable development and international affairs. I have had the opportunity to lead several processes and facilitate resolutions within the United Nations system that pertain sustainable consumption and production such as the UN Decade of Family Farming and the World Food Safety Day. As a negotiator, I also promoted the multidimensional aspect of sustainable consumption and production in several UN related documents and processes.
