SWITCH-Asia II Programme: Launch, Programme Steering Committee Meeting and Regional Networking

The European Union (EU) made the issue of "sustainable consumption and production" (SCP) already a priority in its 2007 – 2013 and 2014-2020 regional cooperation strategy for Asia. The SWITCH-Asia programme I was launch in 2008 by the European Commission to help induce and support governments, national and local authorities, consumers, businesses, SMEs and supporting associations to SWITCH to a more sustainable paradigm for delivering the necessary transformative change in the transition to SCP
