Practical tools for mainstreaming SCP at national level (Toolkit for 10YFP National Focal Points)
This document is part of the Toolkit aimed at supporting the National Focal Points nominated by Member States to coordinate, at country level, the promotion and implementation of the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production, which was adopted at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development in 2012. "Practical tools for mainstreaming SCP at national level" provides Tips to support national coordination and initiatives for sustainable consumption and production. Concrete examples of successful initiatives, developed with the active contribution of National Focal Points in the "Sharing experience case studies" of the Toolkit.
In addition to "Practical tools for mainstreaming SCP at national level", and the "Sharing experience case studies", the Toolkit for 10YFP National Focal Points includes several modules and information documents, all available on the Global SCP Clearinghouse:
1. An introduction to the Toolkit
2. Practical information on the 10-Year Framework, its organizational structure, networks and means of implementation (Find your way around the 10YFP)
3. Information about the online Global SCP Clearinghouse (The Global SCP Clearinghouse and National Focal Points).
4. The directory of the Secretariat and Board of the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production.
The printed toolkit is complemented with online resources available on the Global SCP Clearinghouse.
